  What we do  
  24-hour Trauma Support Service  
 
Traumaclinic offers 24-hour assistance for people needing help with recovery from any kind of personal or work-related traumatic experience.
It consists of a national network of 200 practitioners specially trained in trauma support.
Access to this day/night standby service is through our emergency 24-hour nationwide traumaline: 084 944 9444.
We offer face-to-face emergency support in all the main centres of the country, but can reach anyone telephonically.
 
     
  Our Goal  
  To promote the recovery of trauma victims by  
 
providing professional support to assist with the post-trauma recovery process
optimising support structures to facilitative successful recovery
early identification of persons at risk of developing complications in their recovery, and
initiating immediate interventions where treatment is indicated.
 
     
  Mission  
 
We are committed to providing an effective and professionally accountable support service to anyone affected by trauma. We strive to make this emergency support service accessible and affordable to as wide a population as possible
 
     
  Other Trauma-related Services  
 
Apart from post-trauma support traumaClinic provides training in trauma counselling and other trauma-related topics to management and staff in industry, as well as professionals working in the field.
Our staff provides voluntary services in various NGO’s and community organisations on an on-going basis.
In particular traumaClinic is committed to assisting the professional development of persons from previously disadvantaged communities through providing internships, training and bursaries.

traumaClinic is made up of a network of professionally qualified and specially trained psychologists and counsellors who offer counselling and support to people affected by personal or work-related trauma. The experience of these professionals in dealing with personal trauma as well as work-related trauma in most sectors of commerce and industry spans a period of more than 20 years.

All Vodacom subscribers - a population exceeding 11 million - have free access to our emergency support services.
